Periscope is a Live Video Streaming application owned by Twitter. I built the Periscope web application from scratch with my team. Working in Live video is very challenging and rewarding.
I started work at Periscope moonlighting while still fulltime at Square. I was able to launch the application, help maintain, and add new features. I joined fulltime as the Web Lead in March of 2016.
While working at Square I had the pleasure of launching Square Cash to the world. It was an incredible experience and exciting launch. I worked with the Cash team a little over a year, maintaining, rewriting, and improving the product.
After Cash I helped create a new team at Square that was responsible for Front End Development across all Square properties. My team and I helped get new projects off the ground, helped promote best practices, worked on OSS, and advocated for the web.
At Blackboard, I worked on a small team in San Francisco working on Mobile Platforms for educational institutions. I was the design manager and successfully built and managed a team of up to 11 Front End engineers and Designers.
I helped create, architect, and maintain a number of new web properties for Blackboard during my time there.
